Believe it or not, the journey of an entrepreneur is a very lonely one. 😐

😒 When all your friends go out for partying at night and weekends, you need to work on your business.

😞 When they earn very well and getting promoted at work, you’ll remain poor and they will become not affordable to you. 

😟 When your aunts come and talk high about your cousins, your parents will have nothing to tell about you and then they get upset and start pressuring you to go for a job. 

😭 You’ll literally look like a loser in everyone’s eyes. That’s the beginning of every Entrepreneur. 

I have been in all these situations in my life as an entrepreneur. (Yes, I know what that feels like). 😣

However, this changes when you grow your business. But growing a business is never easy. 

That’s the truth. Although we motivate ourselves to become successful with our businesses, these numbers are real.

1. An Accountability Partner

An accountability partner is someone similar to your business stage or someone doing it better than you. 

• Find that partner and help each other grow in business. 

• Have monthly calls to discuss your monthly goals, plans, strategies, things went wrong and improvement areas. 

• Help each other grow in business and as individuals.

When I looked for an Accountability partner, I looked for someone who is my opposite. I’m a person who gets too many ideas and tries to hop on to everything without sticking with one thing until it grows. Because of that, I always get things messed up. 

Now, since I have an accountability partner who is my opposite, I get controlled and move up together with him which brings me better results with steady growth.

2. A Community of Like Minded People

As I told you, when you’re an entrepreneur, your normal friend groups will become not available to you and not affordable as well. 

That’s why you need to join communities of like minded people. They are similar to you, trying to build a business, going through the same process and problems like you. So, you can easily feel you are not alone and you can get their help, advice and guidance. 

Communities are great places to find accountability partners, mentors, business partners, even customers and suppliers. 

3. A Mentor

Having a mentor is like finding solutions even before you face a problem. As an entrepreneur who has suffered with frustration physically and mentally, I would recommend every entrepreneur to have a mentor.

Yes! It’s a big bonus for any entrepreneur. Be very careful in finding your life partner, because that decision can decide your success or failure.
